The Crab is one of the three mobs that people were able to choose for Minecon Live 2023. The claws of these crabs can be obtained by them simply dropping at random (similar to how chicken drop eggs randomly), and allow for the player to place blocks farther away. The crab spawns in the Mangrove Swamp biome.
The crab’s design is similar to the appearance of a Fiddler Crab.
The Crab was the first mob revealed in the Minecon Live 2023 Mob Vote, alongside the Armadillo, and Penguin.
The Crab was a runner-up to the Armadillo, which won the mob vote.
