Gharial

A Gharial

Gharial are a modded reptile. They are a species of crocodile, and also related to Alligators and Caiman, however, despite how creepy the gharial may look, they are mostly passive mobs. However, they do not attack if attacked. They are usually smaller, or the same size as the crocodile, as they come in different sizes. The gharial uses its long snout to catch fish from far distances. The gharial is rarer than the other crocodile or alligator, only spawning in lakes in jungle biomes. The gharial in critically endangered in real life.

Gharial preform a different task based upon the fish you give them.

Cod breeds them.

Salmon makes it hunt for 10 fish nearby and give them to the player.

Tropical fish makes them do a little dance.

And finally, the only way to get the gharial to attack you is by feeding them pufferfish, in which they do 5 damage.

They do however attack other mobs, such as all fish, including fish from other mods, and terrapin. They don't attack snapping turtles, but they do like to carry them to land and flip them on their back, because snapping turtle attack baby gharials. They drop the same things as crocodiles.
