A small, volatile, green and grey arachnid-like creature. Capable of shooting acid blood. Hostile to living things.
Description[]
When in radius of either a Player or Villager, they begin to spit Gorse Blood at the entity. This ability can be disabled by breaking the head part of a Gorse, or by shooting it with rigidity arrow.
Gorses are similar to Players in a few aspects. They can differentiate in size, adjust in fragility along with Players, and can do the same poses.
Anatomically, Gorses are far less advanced than Players, only being built up of 9 different blocks. They are less mobile and slower, shuffling rather than walking when prompted to. They also lack physical strength.
The body of a gorse is mainly composed of a large head with a mouth, and 4 legs.
Trivia[]
- Gorses attempt to attack Players through walls, but fail. This may be an oversight in the game design.
- The unofficial collective pronoun (voted by the discord server) is 'a plague of gorses'.
- Gorses, along with turrets, are the only hostile entities.
- Gorses weigh approximately 20 kilograms.
- Gorses are immune to acid, it won't receive any skin damage when acid is injected.
