Illager Beast

The illager beast was the original design for the Ravager. Originally, the ravager couldn't move, and would be a mini-boss, spawning at the unused illager temple. It would have had the ability to freeze the player and shoot lasers, like the guardians. They would have also been able to summon illagers on the player to attack. This was scrapped for a few reasons, one that they would rather it be a monster and not a boss, and also because they didn't like the design. The name wasn't decided on until after the original design was scrapped, so fans call it the illager beast, which Mojang was wanting their new mob to be like.
