Two Lake Monsters, Loch Ness variant (Top), and Lake Champlain monster (Bottom)
A lake monster is a lake-dwelling entity in folklore. The most famous example is the Loch Ness Monster. Depictions of lake monsters are often similar to those of sea monsters. Unlike Sea Monsters, Lake monsters are only hostile if you get too close. They look like plesiosaurs and have a long neck and sharp teeth. Lake monsters can be dangerous, but leave them alone and they will be fine.
Combat[]
They will attack any player or any other mob with their head if they get too close. They can also jump high to avoid attacks. A diamond sword is required to fight the sea monster. Armor is also required, due to their high attack strength (11-12 damage at non-armed players). A bow or potions like harming/healing, strenght/regeneration can be useful too. Unlike sea monsters, lake monsters do not break boats.
Trivia[]
- When killed, they do not drop anything.
- They have only one attack, and that is through their head.
- There are two variants, one based off of Nessie, the Loch Ness monster, and the other based off of Champ, the Lake Champlain Monster.
