The robin is a small songbird, found across Europe and North Africa. It has grey and brown feathers, with an orange breast. They are strongly associated with Christmas, often found on Christmas cards and postage stamps.

Spawning[]
Robins spawn naturally in the overworld in groups of two to three. They can mostly be found in temperate forest biomes.
Drops[]
When an adult robin is killed, it drops:
- 0-2 feathers.
- 1 raw bird meat (1 cooked bird meat if killed while on fire).
- 1-3 XP when killed by a player or tamed wolf.
Behaviour[]
Robins are able to fly and will flee when approached by a player. They do not take fall damage.
While in a loaded chunk, a robin will lay a robin egg every 5-10 minutes.
Breeding[]
If two adult robins are fed wheat seeds, melon seeds, pumpkin seeds or beetroot seeds, a baby robin will spawn.
Baby robins can also be spawned by hatching a robin egg. An egg with a higher spawn rate will have a better chance of hatching successfully.
