Seagulls are passive mobs in Alex’s Mobs that inhabit the beach biomes of the Overworld, flying around the expanses of the sky and occasionally resting on the ocean surface. They can steal food and can be used to locate buried treasure. Seagulls are white birds with a few gray feathers. Their wings, which they use to fly with, are also gray, and they have a long, yellow beak. The Seagull will attack with their beak and talons if struck by a player or mob. They will steal food from a player, and if food is left laying around on the ground, it will take that too.
However, they have a useful purpose. If you have a buried treasure map in your offhand slot and give it a Lobster Tail, it will fly towards the spot the chest is buried and stand/sit directly above it, making the process of unburying the chest much easier. Note, however, it will eat the tail after a while, so be quick about marking the spot you want to dig up.
