The Great Hunger, also known as Mob C, was a contender in the Minecon 2017 Mob Vote along with the Barnacle, the Wildfire, and the winning Phantom.
It was described as a lizard-like creature that would sink into the ground, camouflage itself, and consume mobs or items with its huge mouth. It was described as having a "great appetite for enchanting powers". Jeb encouraged viewers to vote for Mob C, as it was said to have the potential to add and/or remove enchantments from items. Mob C was eliminated after the third poll.
